We are excited to announce that Carr Hill High School have chosen The Ashley Foundation as their designated charity.
Carr Hill High School, based in Kirkham, is an 11-16 school with over 1000 pupils. We were informed by Julie, the assistant head teacher, that the school council had chosen The Ashley Foundation as their designated charity.
A TAF employee, Denise, visited the school and spoke to the school council. Denise also delivered assemblies to give the pupils an informal talk about what TAF is and what we do.
The school informed us that in the run up to Christmas the school will be collecting a range of items. This included non-perishable food items, toiletries and practical items such as washing powder and household cleaning products. We were extremely grateful to receive these items on 20th December 2019. Below is a gallery of those items being delivered and received by us. The items are being bagged up to be delivered to our hostels and move on flats.
As well as these items, a donation of £271 was made by the school to TAF.
We are grateful to the school for choosing TAF and look forward to working closely with them to support their fundraising efforts.
