A new chairman of trustees has taken the helm at The Ashley Foundation (TAF).

Roy Alleway has taken the role to oversee our support of single homeless people across 13 sites of hostels and move-on flats in Blackpool and Blackburn.
He takes over from Paul Bamber, who stepped down as chairman in July, after serving as a trustee since TAF was founded in 1997.
Mr Alleway, a retired management consultant, has been a trustee of the charity for 13 years.
He said: “I’m very pleased to take on this role, to concentrate on what The Ashley Foundation does best – providing accommodation to residents, many of whom are in need of considerable help.”
