  • DID YOU KNOW?
IN 2017 WE PROVIDED IN OUR HOSTELS...

Welcome to The Ashley Foundation

The Ashley Foundation is a registered homeless charity
Established in 1997 for the purpose of providing accommodation and support to ‘homeless individuals in need’.
We are committed to treating individuals with dignity and respect. We are determined to offer the opportunity and the support necessary to encourage and enable personal growth and self-development.

There are many and varied reasons why people become homeless. Relationship breakdown, domestic violence, young people asked to leave home, people with drug and alcohol or mental health issues who are unable to sustain an independent lifestyle and more recently due to recession, where someone might lose their job and are then are unable to pay their mortgage or rent, the list goes on and on.

Help someone to rebuild relationships with family / friends, stay in education, employment and training opportunities or deal with their drug, alcohol or mental health problem is much about tackling homelessness as is securing a roof over their head.

Since 1st November 2017, The Ashley Foundation's accommodation is now classed as 'direct access'.

This means that we can accept clients, male and female, aged 18 years and over without a local connection or without having to go through the local authority, via the Single Point of Access scheme.

We accept self-referrals from both clients and by referring agencies looking for accommodation on behalf of their clients.
